As a woman—we need you in the game! This world needs financially empowered women more than ever.
It’s just a fact, the more money you make, the more leverage you have to create change in the world that’s important to you. Becoming wealthy allows you to make a positive difference in the world, and quite honestly, it’s about time women step up and use money as a powerful tool to shape the world for good.
As a woman, YOU need to have your own money, manage your own money, feel good about money, and have all the freedoms and options that money provides.
It’s time to bring attention to your money. It’s time to get intimate with your money and develop an empowering money mindset.
If you’re wondering, “But how? Where do I begin?”… I made a checklist to help you get started.
Do these steps and do them soon:
[ ] Download the Money Review that my team and I created for you. Set aside thirty minutes to an hour. Complete it. That’s a fantastic first step.
[ ] Find out your credit score. Track it. Work on bringing it up.
[ ] Create a retirement plan if you don’t already have one. 1 in 5 working, professional women have nothing saved for retirement. If that’s you, no shame, no blame, don’t beat yourself up. But, don’t ignore the issue either. Do something about it.
[ ] Generate your own money. Even if you’re not working very much right now, find ways to bring money in the door. It’s powerful to know, “I can create more money whenever I want to or need to.”
[ ] Pull up a chair and claim a seat at the table for financial decisions, big and small in your family, and in your business. Don’t just be part of the discussion. Lead the discussion.
[ ] Educate yourself on business, money, wealth, financial empowerment, and the path to success. This includes working on your money mindset and surrounding yourself with other women who are doing the same. My Money Mastery Academy is a great place to start.
[ ] Schedule regular Money Dates with yourself (and your partner). Once a month, at minimum. Review and discuss: What’s our net worth? How much did we earn this last month? How much did we spend, and on what? What are some changes (things that cost money, and things that are free) that would improve our quality of life? What are some ways we could bring more money in the door? Make decisions together.
Take those steps to get your financial house in order. Boss up and empower yourself around your money. That checklist isn't “everything,” but it's a good start.
Remember, when it comes to money, you need to be involved. It’s like any relationship...it has to be nurtured! This is one area where you can’t “opt-out” or “sit on the sidelines” and leave it to somebody else, ignore or just “hope” for the best.
Women fought for the right to earn money and build wealth. Now that we have this right, let’s honor it and respect it instead of squandering it.
Take charge of your money and your future.
Abundance is yours.
xoxo,
Alexandra
