Why you need GRIT

We all want the quick win. The overnight success. To have it all land in our lap.

Wouldn't that just be amazing?

Scrolling the highlights on Instagram or across the socials can be deceiving, and appear this way. “She made millions in a day!”

What you don’t see is the back story where she lived on her grandma's couch and did the work to unearth her limiting beliefs, release the money blocks, and learn her craft along the way.

The truth is quantum leaps are made one step at a time.

Yep. It's true.

And all good things require persistence and come from commitment, willingness to do the work (inside ourselves and externally in the form of real action).

Here’s the headline: “An overnight success… after 5 years of doing the work!”

This is the real story!

I’m not saying your success is going to take five years… I’ve had clients make major transformations in 6 months, 9 months and be in completely different places in their lives and businesses within a year!

But look at the story of some of the most successful startups today, and that headline was their story! (Including big names like Instagram!)

Grit is stick-to-it-ness and commitment. It’s persistence, never giving up, being willing to flex and learn as you go and a willingness to get uncomfortable. It’s a commitment and attitude to knowing you just get better and your dream gets closer with every step forward!

Entrepreneurial success is almost always harder than you think and almost always takes longer than you expect.

But that’s also why it’s fun. It’s a challenge that you have to throw your whole life into, in the best of ways…and when you get it right, the rewards are well worth the effort.
